1. Who we are

BankDetailShield Inc. (“BankDetailShield”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides fraud‑prevention software that detects suspicious bank‑detail changes on vendor invoices.

2. Data we collect

Contact information you provide: name, email, company.
Read‑only financial data retrieved via OAuth from QuickBooks Online, Microsoft 365, Gmail, or Slack—limited to vendor records, invoices, and e‑mail metadata.
Usage logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and auditing.

3. How we use data

We process your data solely to detect and alert you to potential funds‑transfer fraud. We do not sell or lease your data to third parties.

4. Storage & security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES‑256). Tokens and secrets are stored in AWS Secrets Manager.

5. Retention

Invoice files are retained for 30 days; alert metadata for 12 months. You may request deletion at any time.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your personal data by emailing privacy@bankdetailshield.com.
